Just listened to the latest podcast on www.AskAboutFlyfishing.com which is an interview with guide Bruce Chard discussing Big Bonefish in the Florida Keys. There's a lot of interesting information in the podcast including Chard's discussion on the lack of solid information about bonefish and tarpon lifecycles. He commends BTU for the work they are doing. Thought some of you might want to check out that podcast.

OF BRAID & FLUROCARBON LEADER

While we are on knots lets see where it leads! Being a Musky hunter in "the off season" I have naturally brought my super braids with me and along with this came a problem, making a knot that will hold the flurocarbon leader to braid. All of the options that I tried had a bad habit of slipping at the worst time. The knots that held were so bulky that they just did not pass well through the rod guides.

I must apologize today for the look of the forum. Apparently the server that I use for the pictures is having difficulties today, so all the images that are supposed to appear on the forum are not there. Hopefully the problem will be addressed soon, and if not I will look for another hosting site to hold the pictures.
