My knots snag in my leader, no matter how well I tie them. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You ought to try Knot Sense. I just found it but it really works. It coats your knots and uses UV light (as in the sun) to cure it. Slides through really well after that!

I assume you're using blood knots? Tied correctly, shouldn't be too much of a problem.
